SolarControl
SolarControl stands for the range of insulating glass with low-e coatings for heat insulation, which also have a solar heat resistant characteristic. This solar heat gain is expressed in "g": the lower the g value, the more incoming solar heat is blocked by the glass. It is the ideal glass type for south- and west-facing facades. › Solar heat resistant glazing and daylight The degree of solar heat gain affects to some extent the amount of incoming daylight [TL]. The 'selectivity' indicates the Tl/g ratio: the higher the selectivity, the more daylight enters in relation to strong solar heat gain. |  |
